With LABB, we are providing a further significant impetus to strengthen the aerospace sector in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region. The aim of the project is to specifically strengthen, attract and better connect aviation companies in Lusatia – and thereby further develop the region’s potential in a sustainable manner.

As part of the STARK funding programme, the Lausitz Aerospace Berlin-Brandenburg (LABB) network project is contributing to structural change and creating new opportunities for innovation, cooperation and economic growth in a forward-looking sector.

A particular milestone is the signing of the contract by Dr Karsten Mühlenfeld with project assistant Kai Steffen, who will help shape the project going forward. Today, the project has now been launched to realise the challenging objective of establishing and expanding the aerospace sector and industry in Lusatia.
